As the kachina clans grew more prevalent among the Hopi tribes, they began to expand outward into the neighboring people. This little Kachina,

at barely more than 4” tall, is an excellent example of this. It is from the Zuni tribe. Signed by the artist and delicately hand painted and carved.

Over the span of its four decades of life this little item seems to has lost a part of one of its “whips” but it does not take away from its value or beauty.
