While these boiled egg servers, were widely used, in the late 19 th and early 20 the century, it\'s very hard to find an ornate one like this, without damage, and still having the egg holders !!! With only one glaze pop and a few black specks on the surface, this one shows nothing, but a little wear to the gold trim !!! Of the six little egg cups, 4 are perfect, while one has a very tiny chip, on the gold edge, the last one does have a small surface chip and 1/2 \" hairline. Not too bad, for a rare, used porcelain, household item, over 100 years old !!!The holder is 8 \" across, and about 4 \" high, at the handle. Without my Rontgen reference book here, I\'m unable to identify the factory, of origin, but you can see it\'s clearly marked, PF over an anchor.Look very closely at the photos, as they are an important part of description.
