Here is a very fine antique Japanese carved cow bone netsuke in pristine condition. The ivory coloured carving depicts a man and his son leaning over a barrel with two rats peeping out of a hole in the base. Displaying fantastic detail by the artist whose signature is inscribed on a mother of pearl plaque on the base. Please view the enlarged images to see the incredible detail in this lovely item.
An extremely fine example of this collectors piece netsuke just 4 cms high.
