A very interesting early 19th century violin.

It bears a repair label dated with 1860, it is reapaired in Napoli. The violin has a very nice luminous orange varnish. The back is pinned twice on the upper and lower part and the top is also pinned. A friend and violin collector has the opinion that this violin is made from a mandolin or guitar maker in Napoli around 1820-1830, but this is just his opinion.
