Design: Christina Lennsjoe. I cannot find a person by that name but the city or region, Lennsjois in Sweden. There is a crown on the package which says \"Sweden\" to me but the yarn this rya calls for is Scheepjes, which is Dutch. The size is 1.10 m by 1.75 m or 3.6 feet by 5.4 feet
You will find rya Scheepjes yarn offered reasonably on or other sources online. You could useany rya yarn you prefer not just the Dutch yarn the kit calls for.And, using the values on the illustration of the design and the yarn samples, you can either replicate the colors and amounts of a matching scheme or you may choose your own colors.
The backing is printed on both sides; one side was printed for the largest variant of the design while the other side of the backing is the correct choice for the medium size rug. This backing is excellent quality, expensive rayon, linen and wool. You will sew your rya with large needles wrapping the yarn around your fingers as is illustrated in the instructions. These large needles are not included in this kit.
If you search for these MCM kits you know that they are not common. I have treasured this for years but I cansee that I am not going to do all that I would like. You will have a real rya, a true heirloom treasure when youdo complete this.
