This Victor VV X was issued in the 1915-18 era. I have 2 back panels that show the date of release.(see photo) Serial # 84361 J
I was attracted to this estate sale find by the bright and clear mahogany finish!I have simply oiled and greased the motor and added a professionally restored reproducer.
It comes with the original needle cup and original rolling casters.Found inside were receipts for therefinish job and motor repairswhich total $600.65-done in 1996.
I have polished and cleaned every nook and cranny-while adding a newturntable felt and matching bumper pads.
The music is loud and clear with the new sound box and the automatic stopfunctions just fine along with the speed control.
I will include a folder of a variety of 78 rpm records and a package of new needlesso you can play the music as soon as you place this in your home!
I will deliver this a reasonable distance for my travel expense-but would ratherthat it be picked up forfree here in Hacienda Heights, Calif-20 miles east of Los Angeles.
