This classic Victor Victrola is not in good condition.
The turntable DOES turn when the crank is used.
The sound reproducer IS working.
THE TURNTABLE SLOWS DOWN WHEN THE REPRODUCING ARM IS PLACED ON A RECORD.However I am selling this in ---AS IS ---CONDITION ----MAY NOT BE WORKING ----THIS MAY BE FOR PARTS ONLY.
The wonderful Victrola is ready for a refurbishment, and would give you hours of enjoyment!!

Some of the veneer is good - other parts are not. Sections of the veneer may need to be completely replaced. The wood on the interior of the lid is in excellent condition. I believe one part of a leg is broken as well.You can see the original metal plate giving the information of the model. The crank is available & the turntable is in good condition. This is Victrola is priced with its poor condition in mind.
I placed a record on the turntable. I cranked it up to speed. When I placed the needle on the record the turntable slows down. It could be that the needle is dull. Or it could be that something is not in place.In the past someone had started to rebuild the mechanism and refinish the cabinet. I do not want to do any damage by continued testing of this vintage piece.
If the parts were sold individually they would total more than the asking price.
This Victrola could be refinished to its original beauty (: (as a project) or used as a source of parts. ):
There is a container of small parts, I do not know where the are from.
