For yourconsideration - a fine example of mid-century American pottery, VictoriaLittlejohn Birdhouse in excellent vintage condition.
*Handmade minimalist design, hanging ceramic birdhouse.
*Excellent condition for its age, small chip near lip, missing originalrope and twig perch. Some residue from hanging outside for years. Leavingcleaning to new owner.
*Stands approximately 7 \" tall, and is about the size of a cantaloupe.
*Hang indoors or just place it on the mantle, or tie it to your favorite tree.Can be suspended, or presented on its own.
*Littlejohn was a student of Marguerite Wildenhain (who began at the famedBauhaus) and a frequent guest at Pond Farm.
*She became known for her household objects, functional pieces and beautifullyshaped, minimalist ceramic sculptures like the one shown here.
