Victorian Antique Cased Sewing Set / ETUI with Mother of Pearl Handled Tools A wonderful needlework set mainly comprised of lace hooks from the Victorian era. This set is slightly earlier than most, with unusual finely carved tools in iridescent Mother of Pearl which comes complete in the original case which still has a working locking mechanism. The exterior case is crafted from red leather with a push button closure of ornate hardware. and domed lid. The outer case has signs of age and wear but this adds to the authenticity of the piece.The interior is lined in a contrasting blue velvet with matching silk padding.
