Victorian Antique Cream Silk Lace Lavender Carved Dog Collar Handle Parasol

This antique Victorian era cream silk lace lavender carved dog collar handle parasol dates from 1870. It is made of an off white ecru cream color silk taffeta fabric, with lace ruffle trimmings, a lavender light purple silk lining underneath and velvet ribbon bow trim on top. This pretty parasol has a decorative hound dog head carved bone shaft, dog collar hollow handle and brass metal finial top. The parasol measures 20 inches long, with an 8 1/2 inch long bone handle and is 46 inches in circumference when opened up. It is in good as-is condition, with a small hairline crack on the bone handle and has been recovered, relined with a mix of old and new fabrics. This is truly a rare and beautiful antique Victorian parasol!
