Antique Victorian French Silk Fan, Vintage Black Silver Hand Held Fan, Sequins Silk Fan, Celluloid, Paris Boudoir Decor, Made in France

This is an absolutely charming Black Silk Antique French Fan with lots and lots of sparkles and sequins all attached by hand. It is from the Victorian period 1880\'s- 1890\'s. As the fan consists of a layer of transparent black material with hand-sewn sparkles, and a layer of lining, the fan is still strong and is in very good condition for its 120 years. This fabulous folding fan has a gold brass loop ring and black rivet at the bottom holding the fan together. The sticks are made out of carved ebonized wood that are decorated with silver embellishments.

This pretty antique black fan would be perfect in a frame or as part of a French Paris Boudoir Decor on a dressing table.
