This Victorian era antique hand made Irish crochet lace shawl collar dress trim dates from the late 19th century.

It is made of a cream colored handmade Irish crochet lace with a dense heavily created raised three dimensional flower leaf design, connecting thread picot ornamented bars, detailed meshwork and scalloped lace trim edging.

This lace shawl collar has an open front with eye and hook closure at the top neck.

The collar measures 8 inches long, 15 inches neck circumference and is 52 inches in outer circumference. It is in excellent condition.
