PLEASE USE PICS AS PART OF YOUR ASSESSMENT OF ITEM SPECIFICS AND CONDITION What a nice old guy It should be from England and circa 1870 I think the material is Burr or Burl Walnut Not sure what the metals are A few conditional issues that are expected with it\'s age and the fact that this was a traveling desk Please see the pics One of the tacks or (whatever it is called) is missing on one top brass/copper piece and it swings but can be glued in place or left as is It is still fully functional The top Comparment that has the original key is a little stiff to open, (or I might not be doing it right) so I am not fooling with it anymore I got it opened and closed for the pics One bottle is missing the top This is a very handsome old piece of history and would look great Make it a part of our collection Send OBO Approx 14 1/2\" wide x 10 1/2\" deep
