This Victorian era foot warmer is one of two I have to offer this week from the Doulton factories of London. This one is your classic bread loaf style with a pleasant amount of decorative stenciling. Marked in a banner as Doulton\'s Improved Foot Warmer / Lambeth Pottery / London on either side with a stenciled ring of leaves around the neck. Original screw in cap w/wax seal. The cap is seated, the wax ring has hardened so currently it does not remove but by heating up the seal it will back out, I haven\'t done it. The cap is impressed with Doulton\'s Co. Limited Lambeth. Most don\'t actually use them, although you could if desired so the seated cap isn\'t of much importance for the moment. The fact that is is present, and in such good shape is a plus! It\'s heavy, tops around 5.5lbs on it\'s own so I\'m estimating a 6-7lb boxed package for this one.
Measures just about a foot long (pun intended), by 6\" high. No cracks, good overall stenciling bright & clear, a really nice warmer that will go well with your decor. offer now with confidence as your satisfaction is always assured when buying from me!
