This is a vintage chain mesh purse that is made of and marked German Silver and it has a smaller pouch inside of it.The frame has a cut-work pattern of three flowers (one on each end and one in the center) and is surrounded by graceful leaves. The back of the frame is plain. There are six silver beads on the bottom of the purse, each two inches apart. The frame of the mini-pouch is plain. The purse itself measures about ten inches at the base and it is about 5.25 inches high, including the frame. The handle has a seven inch drop. The hinges work well as does the bead clasp. There are no missing links, holes or tears in this sweet purse. If you are looking for a purse like this to use or to add to your collection, this purse is in exactly the condition it should be and has a lovely patina. This purse remained in one family from its inception until I purchased it.
