This handsome collar button is 3/4 inches square and about 5/8 inches high. The curved glass set in the gold filled setting is black with splotches of white and goldstone. The gold finish has worn thin in places, but the piece still appears shiny and bright. The glass has several tiny chips, and the bottom on the back is scratched. Impressed on the bottom of the button is \'\'Pat Nov 22, 1881\'\'.
