Victorian Signed H.J 97 on the edge of the leaf. H.J is for Howard James. There is a small Bird sitting on the Ink Well which is setting on a large leaf. The top is a little out of round and does not set down perfectly. It is hinged and the hinge is a little weak.It is not marked Sterling but it has been tested and tests Sterling. It needs a good polishing. I leave it with the Old patina because some buyers want it that way. It measures 4 7/8\" long from the back of the stem to the front of the leaf. 3 7/8\" wide and 2 3/4\" tall. It weighs 81.0 grams. Email with any questions.
