This outstanding Antique piece is not only entirely usable , but it is also a piece of history as they are no longer made! - The Claret Spoon was used in Victorian times to fetch the fruit from the bottom of large pitchers filled with wine. Any wine. Use it for sangria! or drunken fruit desserts! It is approximately 15.5\" long, and 1-1/2\" at the top with a 2\" by 1-1/4\" bowl on the spoon. Made with solid Sterling silver. It weighs 70 grams. Excellent condition with little signs of use/wear; has been polished, but needs a more thorough polishing to be perfect.Professional packaging so your item is shipped with great care.
