Victorian silverplate bride\'s basket by Meriden Co. decorated with bird & flower designs. Insert is heavy amethyst glass with a silver overlay floral pattern. Fork is included but is probably not original to the piece. Fork is unmarked. All pieces are in good condition with no damage. Some silver loss on basket. Insert has some light wear to silver overlay, and scratches on the bottom from use. Basket does not sit flat on surface- rocks side to side. Basket measures 11\" high, 9\" wide at widest part. Insert measures 8\" across top, 2 3/4\" high. Fork measures 8\". Basket marked \'Made And Guaranteed By Meriden Company\' 0256.
