Here we have a small, but beautifully formed, Victorian lamp shade, I believe it to be a product of Baccarat/St.Louis.
The shade would have originally been for an upright gas fitting, a \'screen\' against the glare of a mantle. It may suit smaller Kosmos type peg lamps etc...
This shade is crystal-etched, deep/raised crisp designs, my favourite type of etching.
Dimensions; The shade measures around 5 3/8\" tall, around 5 1/2\" wide, and has a 2 5/8\" fitting rim.
Condition; Good, fleabites/flaws to rough-cut rims to be expected, expect slight manufacturing flaws, small bubbles/potential grit specs, please see images.
Overall, an attractive old shade, ideal for Kosmos lamps etc...
