A Rare Victorian Solid Silver Novelty Owl Whistle by Sampson Mordan Naturalistically modelled as an owl, with glass eyes and suspension loop, 5cm long, Hallmarked for London 1897 with marked mark SM&co , also stamped S.Mordan It measures 4.2cm (excluding the top loop) & weighs 12.5Condition: A few surface marks , a partially worn makers mark, otherwise good. It has a loud whistle when blown hard. ref: 388b
