Victorian Sterling Repousse Silver Bowl by Howard and Co. New York:

This is a sterling silver repousse bowl from the Victorian Era. It was made by Howard and Company between 1878 and 1891 when it went out of business. This bowl is 9 1/2 inches round and weighs 313 grams of sterling silver or approx. 10 ozs. troy. The bowl has a small denton the side that shows just a bit on the inside of the bowl. The workon the rim of the bowl isbeautiful and intricate. I would hate to scrap this bowl! It is monogrammed with \"CW\" in the center of the bowl. This bowl is not perfect but it is certainly worth 1.20 per gram. I hope one buyer out there agrees with me. Thanks for looking.
