Book Condition and Description.This book is in Very good condition, spine a little sunned, endpapers starting to crack.There is minor foxing and browning on prelims, with only light wear on boards.
An excellent copy of Burn\'s work in a splendidly bound Victorian book.Bold red hard boards with bevelled edges, blind stamped decor adorning all boards, with the spine and front board adding gilt and black colouring.Some full page illustrations and with text in a red lined border.All edges of text block in gilt.Please take a look at all the photo\'s as they give you a more detailed view of the condition.Most of my books are Second hand or Vintage, so please don\'t expect perfection but I do try and give an honest description and you should be aware of that before offerding.Please understand that I am not an expert on my books, but am only a lover of old books and collector. I have done my best to describe this book based on my current knowledge, but nobody is perfect. I welcome any questions you may have about this book. I know that the pictures do not usually do justice to the books.It\'s also a fact thata lot of my old books were from very smokey homes and they still retain that \"smoked\" smell, I thought I would mention that as my place of work is smoke free.
