Viennese Silver, Enamel & Plique a Jour Box c1900

A wonderful Silver Trinket box embellished with both enamel and plique a jour enameling creating a lovely and unique piece. This Round Silver Box hase a star in the centre of the lid showing a cherub on a cloud. the star is surrounded by a delicate pierced pattern with plique a jour enamelling fillling in the pattern. The Base of the Box is chased and the interior is lightly gilded.

This Box is in good condition and is hallmarked.Made in Vienna, Austria.
