This is the original final drawing by Ving Fuller for the daily comic strip episode of Doc Syke that appeared in newspapers on January 19, 1949. It features Doc Syke, the title character, and his son Little Doc, who has set up his own practice and visually spelled \"psychological phenomena.\" Ving Fuller was a prolific cartoon and comic strip artist/creator whose career began in the 1920s. He was a cartoonist/illustrator for newspapers and created at least two syndicated comic strips: Elza Poppin in the 1930s and Doc Syke in the 1940s. Doc Syke ran in newspapers from 1945 (or 1944) to 1960. This original is signed \"Ving Fuller\" by the artist in the last panel. United Feature Syndicate copyright is in the third panel.
There is slight discoloration; the margins are close to the art image: FINE condition.
