This item comes from a jewelry store that closed many years ago. It was unsold inventory that has been in storage since the owner retired and later died (item is over 25 years old but still in new condition.). The ring is a size 6. It is 10 kt. yellow gold with a beautiful, solitary, pear-shaped synthetic ruby. It still bears the original retail tag of $95.00. The stone sits in a 4 prong setting. This is a very nice item- perfect for a young girl, teen or someone with small hands. It bears the 10K marking on the inside of the band. (It also bears a maker\'s marking which I do not recognize.) The stone is approx 4 1/2mm, the ring with stone and tag weighs 1.6 gm.
