This is truly a wonderful and fabulous vintage collectible 100% cotton chenille rug. My mother told me when growing up that these rugs, as well as the bedspreads, were sold on the side of the road in various Southern states. This I vaguely remember. The basic rug color is pink, with 3” looped fringe surrounding the entire piece. Within the center is a colorful peacock that is also adorned with floral motif. This rug is old, and has some wear. Although is still a useable displayable rug. This rug really stands out.
