Derby Silver Co Antique Victorian Repousse Silverplate Handled Basket 1890. Here is a Beautiful Antique Victorian Handled Basket in Silverplate made by Derby Silver Co. in an all over Repousse Scrolled Feather Pattern. This Wonderful Derby Silver Co Basket has a Ruffled Rim and a Twisted Handle with a ball shaped piece in the center of the handle. There is a beaded rim at the base of the Basket.
The REPOUSSE BASKET BOWL measures a little more than 4 3/4 inches in diameter and is 1 1/2 inches tall with the handle down. With the handle up it is about 4 1/2 inches tall. The Repousse Basket is Marked on the bottom Derby Silver Co. 1140 Sept 30th 1890. It it definately 189 but the O is smeared and it could be anywhere in the 1890\'s. It is a lovely antique Victorian piece of work by Derby Silver Co. Lots of pictures.
