I can only do calculatedshipping for one package. In this listing, the shipping cost you see is the sumof the actual shipping charge from NY state to your location for the wood boxwith the transit plus a handling charge, which is the cost for me to send thetripod to Los Angeles. If you live closer, ask for an invoice before paying andyour price for shipping could be much lower.

Everything appears to befully functional and in very good shape on this transit. Bubble level is intactand working. Card stapled onto inside of lid gives a date of 12/1/60 when thetransit was repaired and adjusted.

*10658* stamped onunderside of base appears to be the serial number (see last photo). Accordingto surveyantiques.com, this translates as the 658th instrument builtin 1910.

Listing includes theoriginal tripod, the original wood storage case, lens cap, objective sunshade,and the key to the case! I also found a 4.75” long piece of wood that has “OLDLEVEL (GURLEY)” written on it. No idea what it is.

Case and tripod are alsoin really nice shape. Screws on the side of the case indicate that a shoulderstrap may have been attached at some point. This transit is truly a wonderfullypreserved piece of surveying history. Please examine the photos closely andemail any questions.
