Vintage May 13, 1919 Patent Coleman Quick-Lite Gas Lamp with hand-painted Glass Shade and original ceiling hanger in good conditionThis is a vintage 1919 brass Coleman quick lite oil lamp with yellow milk glass shade with hand painted flowers and green leaves. Marked on center brass tube US. Pat. May 17, 1919 British patent 153329. On the bottom Coleman made in U.S.A. Brass base measures 19\" high x 8\" wide. shade measures 7-1/4\" high x 9 3/4\" wide. The lamp measures 20\" high to the top of the shade, and 27\" high to the top of the ceiling hanger. There are no cracks, chips or repairs on the shade. The mechanism and lamp itself is also free of defects or repairs.
On the India rubber or Gutta Percha Insulator around the stem of the lamp is the following information:
