Here is another Wahl-Eversharp fountain pen that I am selling from my collection. This is a \"Gold Seal\" flat top, circa 1929, complete with a ring top. It measures 4 3/4\" long and is in a nice jade green. There are 3 gold filled bands on the clip and one on the barrel. The body is in good condition but has two little dents on either side of the clip. The black section where the nib screws into is damaged. It won\'t separate from the body and it looks like someone used a pair of pliers on it to try and get it open. There is also a small crack in it. The lever fill won\'t open all the way, maybe due to a calcified sac? The black section at the base of the pen also has some indentations (all shown in the photographs). The nib has a very fine point and writes a little scratchily (see writing example)On the nib is the cap is imprinted:

In late 1928 Wahl introduced his answer to the Sheaffer White Dot with their own \"Lifetime Guarantee\" fountain pen, the Gold Seal. At first glance it would appear that these pens were just Signature Pens with the Gold Seal, but a closer look reveals a couple of other innovations. The more interesting feature apart from their overall handsome shape and trim, was the introduction of the \"Personal Point\" nib system where the nib and feed were held in an interchangeable section permitting the dealer and the customer to change the nib as needed from a super fine point to a wide stub and other styles inbetween.PLEASE NOTE - For International buyers, I will determine the actual shipping cost by going first to the post office.
