DESCRIPTION
This is a vintage C6 string with 8 Mickey Mouse Bell Shaped Covers. Slight decal loss is evident, but they still look very nice on the Christmas tree or wherever you want to display them.
The cloth covered string is in good working condition, with no serious fraying and no bare wires. The string is knotted and has a wood berry bead near each socket, for attaching to the tree branch. There is a NOMA connector on the string about 42\" from the add-on NOMA plug. The plug and connector are black bakelite with swirls of red mixed in. They also have \"NOMA\" embossed into them. There is no \"UL\" tag on the cord.
The bulbs used are cone shaped painted C6 bulbs of various colors. If you have the smaller \"T3\" type C6 bulbs, these would work also.
The string operates in series, which means when one bulb burns out or becomes loose, they all go out. Since these C6bulbs are getting harder to find,a dimmer device would save these bulbs a lot longer and still give you enough light.
There are 8 bell shaped covers on the string, each having different decals of Disney Mickey Mouse characters and scenes applied to them. These are in Good Condition with some having part of a decal missing. See the pictures, which show both sides of each bell cover. These 8 covers do not have any cracks or breaks.
Also going along is 4 more covers. Two (green and yellow) have a crack in them and the decals are very nice. The other two (blue and white) are not cracked or broken, but have some decal loss. See the pictures!
There is no box. The insert was used for display purposes only and will not be included.
This string is hard to find. The string, bulbs, and cones weigh 9.7 ounces before packaging for shipment.
