This is a gorgeous picture showing our Blessed Mother Mary seated with the Child Jesus on her lap. There are 3 girls eachoffering a plate of roses, representing the Mysteries of the Rosary. The one representing the Joyful Mysteries is wearing a wreath of roses on her head, and has pink roses. The one representing the Sorrowful Mysteries has a crown of thorns with red roses, and the one for the Glorious Mysteries has a Gold crown with golden yellow roses. There is a large Rosary in the picture also. Under the picture is the wording REGINA SACRATISSIMI ROSARII, O.P.N. which is latin for QUEEN OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY, PRAY FOR US
This picture is by the beloved Catholic artist, Mother Margaret Mary Nealis . She did many beautiful paintingsaround the 1930\'s. I have more holy cards with her lovely artwork, so be sure to check them out!
4 1/2\" x 2 3/4\" . The back of the card is blank but at the bottom it reads (Copyright symbol) Convent of the Sacred Heart , Sault Montreal - Lithographed in Canada.
The artwork is sweet and traditional in style. A wonderful treasure from years gone by!
