Gorgeous quality vintage women\'s coat!
This is a vintage ladies taupe brown coat with authentic fur collar, made for the J.L.Hudson\'s Woodward Shops in Detroit, Michigan. The Woodward Shops were the high end area in the Hudson\'s department store. I don\'t know the age for sure, but the style and the style of the tags looks to be from the 1920\'s/30\'s -- that is a guess. The coat is done in taupe fabric with a fur collar and interesting detailed buttons.
It is fully lined in a beautiful salmon satin color and the collar can be worn up high with hooks or unhooked and more open. The sleeves have a dropped shoulder look possibly and are maybe meant to be a three-quarter length sleeve?
I don\'t know the fiber content of the coat and it is not marked.
There are no size tags, so please be sure to see the following measurements given below and compare to something that you already own to make sure this will fit you !!
Condition:
This is in good pre-owned used/vintage condition. The coat is gorgeous, the only flaw I can find is the lower quarter bottom portion of the interior lining is stained and dotted with an unknown substance.
This has not been professionally cleaned, that would be up to you. I cannot guarantee that the stains would come out so please see the last photo for detailing!
