This is a beautiful vintage bookmark from the noted American silversmith S Kirk & Son. This elegant bookmark is finely crafted in sterling silver in the attractive and collectible Chalet Rose pattern. The bookmark features a dainty five-petaled flower and vine motif, with a gracefully shaped form. The bookmark is hallmarked for Kirk and as sterling silver, model number 8. No monograms. A classic accessory for any bookworm.
Measures 2 3/8\" long x 1\" at widest point. Weighs 7.9 grams. In overall very good condition with surface wear consistent with age and normal use, including rubbing and light abrasions as pictured.
