This authentic, vintage, circa 1938 Coke cooler is one of the rarest and most difficult to find ice chests Coca-Cola produced. Manufactured by Westinghouse, this example would make a stunning centerpiece in any collection.

This art deco styled ice chest is a counter top version. It is completely functional and could actually be used.

The most obvious features areitsstraightness, minimal dents and original paint.The Coca-Cola script is embossed on all four sides and, typical of the era, the word 'Drink' is inset into the script. All seams are tight and intact. No heavy pitting/rust/dents/warping/structural issues. the galvanized interior is fairly nice. The bottom on the insidehas been recently fiber glassed and is liquid tight. It was de-rusted before glassing. Lid fits snugly and has a new handle and chain. A new thick rubber gasket cushions the lid and creates a tight fit whenclosed. There are nooriginal carry handles and that is what makes this case unique. It is a counter top model that would have been used in a mom and pop grocery stores or gas station.

All it is missing is the bottle opener and the cap catcher available on for about $20.

Special edge guard on bottom. Nice construction so may be factory. It is really a nice addition to this ice chest.
