Up for sale is a vintage 1940 Singer model 15-91,

(serial #Af506227)>This is a favorite amongst collectors because of the quality of stitch and power. It is a heavy duty direct drive / potted motor machine which provides it with the power to easily sew through fabrics such as sail cloth, leather, webbing, denim, plus lightweight fabrics as well. Straight stitch w/ reverse feed.

Uses class 15 bobbin & takes size 15x1 needles. Sews a beautiful stitch whether forward or reverse. All areas oiled and metal gears lubricated with singer lubrication. Thoroughly cleaned and ready to sew.

It is vintage so does shows signs of wear and use Notably some small nicks along the bed of the rear side of the machine (last photo), and surface scratches on the bed and throughout the body & the decals are faded. Not quite showroom condition, but very powerful and sews a perfect stitch. Please use pictures for best opinion and judgement.Condition wise overall it is in great 75yr old condition. Has a high gloss shine to the piano black frame

Machine has been oiled appropriately, old gunky lubricant removed and new lubricant added. Bobbin case area has been cleaned of any lint and debris.
