“Tamamushi lacquerware” is a Sendai-born urushi lacquerware that features captivating colors and gloss that reflects light.

It was named “Tamamushi (jewel beetle)” since the beautiful colors that change its tones according to the degree of light resembles the wings of the jewel beetle.

A QUEST FOR THE HIDDEN TREASURE: TOKYO TO OSAKA

Environment and could reveal more colorif it was held to brighter light. As this pen is fairly new I don\'t expect totake it outdoors any time soon but, in the pictures, one can see the room isfairly well lit.

PISTON class=\"MsoNormal\" not just a term of speech - some very high-quality fountain pens, such asthe Danitrio Mikado and the Junikaku series pens, and even some Nakaya, Nimikimodels utilized the entire pen barrel as an ink reservoir and are most convenientlyfilled using a common high capacity ink dropper. The eye dropper has a pistonmechanism that helps you to intake a huge amount of ink in the barrel and whenyou almost finish using the ink, the piston will help you to drain out rest ofinks when you clean your pen. This mechanism creates an airtight atmosphere toensure leaking out of ink and also constant ink flow to the feeder.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:

I have bought many fountain pens of these kind and each Fountain pen is Unique in its own way, I really like this one, buying a Hand-made Fountain Pen from a man that holds it in high esteem gives me pride and joy, the ease at which it writes and the fact that when people see it with me a lot of people ask me where did you get it makes it more appealing. It is a dream to write with and by far one of the best gorgeous fountain pens that I have ever had in my hands. Or I would just say this is the one, one that will blow your mind. All the pens are brand new and was in stock in the factory for more than 70 years. I have tested the filling system, body and also the nib section and all are in perfect condition. Writing with the nib is amazing and seamless. The nib is semi-flex and quite comfortable. Nibs will give quite a line variation to your writing. You would love the pens the same way I do trust me.

I really like the design of the pen. It has a sturdy look but easy to carry and the balance is perfect. Since it has passed quite a bit time since production, please be aware of some mild rusting that is shown in the pictures, you may not see them because it is so minor but I mention anyway. For details, please check the photos. I tried my best with the pictures for you.

WHY SO UNIQUE:

There are several reasons why, these designs turn to be unique.

One is because these fountain pens are handmade products. In all kind of industry, asking someone to make certain product by his/her own hands, turn to be highly appreciated and valued.
