I did research these unused socks in my large vintage fashion catalog collection in order to find the correct time period for them. I found examples similar to this pair in periodicals that date from the mid 1940\'s and into the very early 1950\'s.
As you can see in the photos, this vintage pair of socks still has its original label and is in NOS condition:
- The color is even and unfaded. Any variation in color from one photo to the next is due to lighting.
- The socks are clean and free of spots, holes, loose threads, or bad smells.
- These are made with rayon and cotton.
These are a size 11 1/2. The length from the tip of the toe to the edge of the heel is 11 1/2\".
