Offered at sale is an old 6\" wide x 5” tall Jack OLantern Black Cat from the 1940\'s. Thisold cat lantern was originally orange but the paint had turned to powder whichcould be brushed off with your hands so it hasbeen repainted satin black with 2 coats of acrylic matte clear coat.

The handle is original and so is the eye and mouth insertwhich is somewhat faded and shows some deterioration and soiling. There is a recessed concave area on the back ofhead.

This was probably old store stock that had been stored fordecades. In summary, it still is a neatexample of Halloween from decades gone by.
