Up for your consideration is an amazing authentic wwii era red crepe wrap gown with a side swag. The dress is drop dead gorgeous and is definitely old Hollywood era. The dress pulls on over the head with a plunging neckline with gathers and pleats at the top of the bodice The wrap part is sewn down at the waist with pleats that form an open swag on the side. It has a metal side zipper opening on the left hand side of the dress. The dress swag is open on the side to the floor with folds of fabric that graduate in length. The dress hem is cut longer in the back than the front by approximately 3\" inches. It has small shoulder pads and a matching crepe belt with a gold leather end to it, and a gold leather covered buckle. It is very chic and very elegant. The dress is a luscious deep coral red color and has beautiful weight and draping of the crepe fabric with small pin tucks and pleats and gathers in the front and back. The dress has a 9.5\" inch metal talon zipper on the left side. The sleeves have 3.5\" brass metal zippers at the bottom of the wrists, and the fabric comes the a point over the top of the hands. The rayon crepe material has a nice weight and body to it. The dress is in very good vintage condition and the crepe material is very strong and even colored. The only blemishes that could be found were some small light random spots near the back at the bottom hem. These are not bad, and hardly noticeable and are shown in the last two photos in a close ups.
