Stately and Fierce this Lion Pin is Fabulous with a Huge Mane and Curled Tail. Accented with Clear Rhinestoneson the Collar and 2 Stonesin Green for the Eyes. Made of Gold Plated Metal.

Measures ~ About 3\" Across by 2\" Tall. Has a Good Working Pin Stem and Roll Around Safety Clasp.
Is of Good Quality ~ Weighty

Condition ~ Vintage Pre-Owned Very Good to Excellent ~ No missing stones, breaks or cracks. Under Magnification I noticed 2 areas that appear to have been touched up with Gold.

References ~A Similar Lion is Pictured in American Costume Jewelry Art & Industry 1935 - 1950 by Brunialti on Page 75 except the Lion is in Blue Enamel with a Full Rhinestone Mane and Painted Face, the tail is slightly different not as curled as this one. I have picture the Alfred Philippe Patent # 113793 from 1939 for Your Info. Probably made at a later date for the masses, Stil Fabulous !
