Royal Doulton Long John Silver Charger Platter c1941
Ahoy Mates! This RARELarge 15\" Royal Doultondecorative charger plate
shows the pirateLong John Silver with his crew and treasure on a sandy beach,
bordered with twining flowering vines.
The piece is fromthe Royal Doulton SeriesWare c1941 whichwas produced from
c1937 and withdrawn in 1967. The charger has impressed markson the underside 11-41
which indicates its production date as November,1941
The charger\'s diameter is15 inches (39cm)across, is in excellent condition with no repairs,chips, cracks,
and weighs around 5 1/2 lbs. .
Along with the Royal Doulton trademark, it also has the Series mark D5687.
Thisunusual collectableplate is ready for hanging with a wire and would enhance any collection.
