Thisis a Vintage Mattel \"Peter Cottontail Musical Easter Basket\" that is in excellent to near mint condition and comes with a Vintage Easter Box. Check out all the pictures to better describe this cute musical, as this is SOLD AS-IS. This is dated Copyright 1950 by Hill & Range Song, Inc. on the bottom. It is approx. 5 1/2 inches long and stands 4 3/4 inches tall to the top of the handle. This is a cute Easter basket that has the colorful graphics around the basket and a yellow embossed plastic handle on the top. The side has a crank that you wind up and it plays a song. I believe the song is plays is, \"Here Comes Peter Cottontail\". This is delicate and so I only would it up a few times and it seems to play loud and clear. Not bad for being over 67 years old! This doesn\'t look like it was used much and looks great on display. The outer box it comes in, is not the original one that this was suppose to come in, but a cute little Easter Gift Box. This is also from the 50\'s and has similar style graphics around the box. The box has yellowed a little from age, but the colors are even all around the box sides, top and bottom. Overall this is very cute musical Easter Basket ondisplay and would make a great addition to your Vintage Easter or Rabbit Collection!! This is SOLD AS-IS.
