Description
An absolutely lovely 1950’s party dress in an exquisite color combination of sunflower yellow, moss green, lilacand tangerine on background of ivory chiffon. The style typifies the 50’s - oh so feminine and figure flattering - with a narrow bodice and full skirt. There are two layers to the skirt – a lining of tangerine satin acetate, topped with a floating top layer of chiffon with a floral design print. Maker\'s label reads \"Lorie Deb: San Francisco\". No fabric content label but this is a synthetic, likely nylon blend.
Note the special details on this lovely dress – strapless (boned) ruched bodice, and especially the fabulous twirling full skirt. Note the dress is photographed using a crinoline to show the skirt to full advantage – the crinoline is not included.
The dress closes down the rear with a vinyl zipper. Either this dress originates from the early 1960\'s or the original metal zipper was replaced. The entire dress is lined in matching tangerine satin acetate. It is possible the interior boning was added to the bodice or replaced the original stays.
Vintage size label indicates size 11, but please see measurements below for proper fit. This is definitely not a modern size 11. As is, it is an extra small size which would only fit a modern size 0 or 2. However, it appears the bodice has been altered as there is approx. one additional inch on each side seam to let out.

Condition
This dress is in excellent vintage condition. No stains and underarms are clean. It appears rarely worn. I noted very few of the snags and picks typical of chiffon dresses of this vintage. * Note comments above re possible alterations and extra fabric to let out the bodice.

Returns
All items are sold as final sales, unless a significant flaw has inadvertently not been disclosed. I do my best to accurately describe every item and any significant flaws will be mentioned in the description. Of course it is possible to overlook something and if this occurs, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to resolve the issue. I cannot accept returns for items that do not fit – measurements are taken carefully so please ensure that these match your own before offerding.
Please keep in mind that vintage items are not new, and as such are rarely in perfect condition. Unless otherwise stated, all items have been worn and show some degree of wear. Small imperfections are inherent in vintage garments and add character to the pieces.

Shipping
Unless otherwise requested, all Canadian and US shipments will be shipped expedited parcel via Canada Post, with tracking and insurance. I do not charge handling fees so all prices reflect actual mailing costs.
International buyers are welcome. International shipments will be priced on an individual basis and generally will be higher. If you would like an international shipping quote before purchasing, please send me an email. Insurance is recommended on international shipments, as I cannot be responsible for loss or damaged parcels if insurance is not purchased.
