Description
An absolutely stunning 1950’s dress in a gorgeous combination of teal blue and robin\'s egg pale turquoise chiffon ! The style typifies the 50’s - oh so feminine and figure flattering – narrow draped bodice, designed to enhance the bust and accentuate a tiny waist – with a twirling full skirt. There are three layers to the skirt – a sky blue satin acetate lining, topped with two layers of teal chiffon. No maker\'s label but this dress appears to have been professionally made. No fabric contents label but this is likely a nylon blend. Note the special details on this lovely dress – bust enhancing two tone ruched (boned) bodice, accent side panel in pale turquoise, and especially the wonderfully full skirt. The dress is photographed using a crinoline to show the skirt to full advantage – the crinoline is not included. The dress closes down the rear with a metal zipper. The entire dress is lined in sky blue satin acetate. No vintage size label, so please see measurements below for proper fit. This is an extra small size which would best fit a modern size 0 or 2.

Condition
This dress is in very good to excellent vintage condition. No stains or tears on the chiffon and underarms are clean. Only a few minor mentions. There is some oxidation or discoloration to sections of the skirt lining, typical of blue acetate. These are barely visible through the double layer of chiffon. There are also several snags and picks, typical of chiffon skirts of this vintage.

Returns
All items are sold as final sales, unless a significant flaw has inadvertently not been disclosed. I do my best to accurately describe every item and any significant flaws will be mentioned in the description. Of course it is possible to overlook something and if this occurs, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to resolve the issue. I cannot accept returns for items that do not fit – measurements are taken carefully so please ensure that these match your own before offerding.
Please keep in mind that vintage items are not new, and as such are rarely in perfect condition. Unless otherwise stated, all items have been worn and show some degree of wear. Small imperfections are inherent in vintage garments and add character to the pieces.

Shipping
Unless otherwise requested, all Canadian and US shipments will be shipped expedited parcel via Canada Post, with tracking and insurance. I do not charge handling fees so all prices reflect actual mailing costs.
International buyers are welcome. International shipments will be priced on an individual basis and generally will be higher. If you would like an international shipping quote before purchasing, please send me an email. Insurance is recommended on international shipments, as I cannot be responsible for loss or damaged parcels if insurance is not purchased.
