Retro!! Vintage 1950\'s TV Table Lamp w/ Original Red Venetian ShadeI am told this is a Premco Brand but I cannot confirm, there is not a makers mark or sticker on lamp to confirm.
This is a real show stopper! Wonderful vintageorientallamp with original Red \"venetian blind\" shade. No chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing on exterior. A few gaps can be seen in mould up insidebottom. Cracks appear to be frommanufacturingprocess/drying process, very common in this type of porcelain. Guaranteed in great vintage condition as shown in all photos. Note there is some light staining on the red shade...appears to be white milky spots. These spots \"MAY\" clean off but I will not guarantee it as I am not attempting any cleaning on this item. Appears some of the paint on the figurines has worn off over time...most likely due to my mother keeping it dusted. It has one place on base to put plants.Shade is in very good condition except as noted (the white spots). Cloth pieces that hold shade together are all in good condition. Shade measures about 17\" wide and 10\" deep, lamp base measures about 23 \" base to top, 10 3/4\" wide and approx 5\" deep at deepest point. All measurements close approximations. Cord in fair condition, may need to be replaced to ensure it is safe.
I am selling off some of the items I received from my parents estate. This lamp has been in my family since the mid 1950\'s. I was told by my mother that my dad bought this for her about the time they were married which was in 1958. I am hesitant to part with this but I have learned over the past 2 years since their passing that I simply cannot keep everything and they would want their items to be enjoyed by someone who appreciates older pieces of art.
