Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this 1950\'s era Electro Voice 423A desk top microphone stand. The model was produced with the satin aluminum base and the painted aluminum base like this one for low glare studio settings. They have the standard 5/8 threading for mounting a microphone. This one is new old stock and only has minor paint loss on the back of the riser and light scuffs on the base. All threading is clear and all 3 rubber pads are in place on the bottom. The base is 5 inches round and the height is 5 1/4 inches to the top of the tube threading.
