Vintage 1950s BARBINI Murano Glass CIRCUS TENT Italy BOWL
This is a beautiful Murano bowl/ashtray attributed to Barbini of Murano, circa 1950. The small oval pinched bowl has gold dust sprinkled throughout the interior of the circus tent pattern. It is sommerso (layers of glass) clear to blue to ribbons of white. The clear shows a strong green when held to UV light. The bowl is in amazing condition...excellent! No chips, scratches or cracks, only the expected scratches on the base. It measures 6 1/4\" by 4 1/2\" and about 2\" at its tallest.
