Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage floor lamp with built-in shelving that was manufactured by the Frederic Weinberg Company back in the 50s. The framework of the lamp is strong metal that is painted gold (we believe this was the original color). The fiberglass shade panels are beige in color with beige colored lacing. Functional and sleek, this unit always looks great wherever it\'s placed.
Measurements: This floor lamp stands approx. 61\" tall x 10.5\" wide x 10.5\" deep. The shade portion at the top measures approx. 20\" tall x 10.5\" wide x 10.5\" deep. The glass shades would be inserted at staggered heights - one at approx. 10\" from the ground surface, and the other at approx. 26\" high. The glass shelves would measure approx. 10.25\" x 10.25\".
Condition: Very good condition. The four fiberglass panels are free from rips, holes, tears, burns, etc. The lacing appears to be taught and intact all the way around. The metal framework of the lamp is free from dents, dings, bends, repairs, etc. One of the small black plastic caps on one of the feet is missing and needs to be replaced. A cheap and inexpensive fix that any reputable hardware store will carry. The glass shelf inserts also need to replaced - this will be left up to the winning buyer to provide - again, another easy and inexpensive fix. The electrical wiring and socket are original to the lamp, and they are in great shape - no breaks, frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. While the lamp is in fully functioning, working condition, as with all vintage lighting, we strongly recommend having it checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. As it is, it\'s ready for use and/or display.
